Description: Apart from the obvious fun and variety of activities available during a summer on the shores of Cape Cod Bay, our campers become participating members of a supportive, caring community where safety, fun and friendships are our hallmarks. CCSC is a coeducational camp playing host to some 375 campers per session ranging in age from 8 to 17. Our campers come to us from throughout the United States and around the world with approximate geographic distributions as follows: 50% New England, 40% other states (23 represented) 10% International. Campers are placed in 10 units according to age and grade. Each year, we have an annual average return between 65% and 70%.Our general programs are available for 3 1/2 or 7 week sessions. We do offer a special 10 day Campers A-Way program for young 1st time campers. Another special program is our Junior Counselor Training Program for teens. Campers in this program must attend camp for the full session. Percentages of campers choosing the various sessions are as follows: Full Season 30%, Half Season 60%, Campers A-Way 10%.Campers are housed in comfortable cabins accommodating between 10 and 14 campers with 2 to 4 counselors. The cabins are screened, have electricity and bathrooms are attached to all but the original 3 Wono cabins which have adjacent toilets. Campers become integral members of a group living experience learning their individual responsibilities and contributing to the groups direction and fulfillment.
