Description: Vacamas Day Camp offers a non-competitive and supportive environment which encourages campers to set new goals and develop self-confidence, responsibility and leadership. Each of the nine weeks of the program is planned with a different theme to create an atmosphere of excitement and newness throughout the summer. The Vacamas Day Camp provides families with the security of knowing that their child is in a well-supervised, safe, caring and nurturing setting, while being introduced to new experiences, having fun, making new friends and developing new skills. The Vacamas Day Camp is a division of Vacamas Programs for Youth, a not-for-profit agency which has been providing camping experiences for over 85 years. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis. One- through nine-week sessions are available.
