Description: Family Archaeology Week is designed for all generations with fun, hands-on activities to introduce you to archaeology and the history of the ancestral Pueblo Indians. You'll learn to identify pottery, stone & animal bone artifacts in the lab and practice excavation techniques in our simulated dig before excavating our current site alongside our archaeologists. There will be many fun-filled activities such as fire making, throwing a spear with an atlatl, hiking and evening programs.
