Adventure Quest! - Renaissance Adventures

Other locations available throughout the Front Range including Boulder, Littleton, Parker, Longmont, Denver, and Lyons.

Your child is the hero of a mythic quest in an incredibly fun, award-winning outdoor experience like none other! In small groups of like ages, the heroes read maps, solve mysteries and riddles, overcome dynamic challenges, negotiate peace treaties, and battle using safe, foam swords to save the kingdom. Renaissance Adventures is experiential education through live-action role playing games.

As with all Renaissance Adventures programs, Adventure Quest is designed to develop teamwork, critical thinking, ethical reasoning, communication, and other 21st century skills. Questers band together and playact as a hero with special skills, a selection of gear, and a kingdom to save! As they overcome challenges, the kids gain experience points to increase their character's power, and as they work through difficult dilemmas in virtuous ways, they gain honor and renown.

Our incredible leaders undergo 80+ hours of specialized training, including first aid, child care, emergency preparedness, conflict resolution, experiential education, and the art of leading this co-created story game where every decision the kids make affect the challenges, plot, and goal.

In addition to Adventure Quest, Renaissance Adventures runs "Quest & Quill" programs that develop creative writing appreciation and allows kids to submit their short stories in an actual publication sold at book stores; we run Star Quest programs that are a science-fiction themed adventures with the potential of STEM learning; we run birthdays, after-school programs, holiday quests, sword skirmish events, teen CIT leadership training, workshops, and more!
