Summer Programs at Missouri Military Academy

Each summer Missouri Military Academy's Summer Academy, Confidence and Leadership Camps welcome young people from across the country to train, compete and learn in our state of the art military and recreational facilities. Our military summer school experience is a rewarding opportunity for young people to learn leadership skills and to improve on their academics.

MMA offers four excellent programs for young people.

Summer Academy for Boys and Girls Grades 7-12 (Girls can only be enrolled as Day Students, no boarding)

NeKaMo Camp Cedarbrook

NeKaMo Camp is a nondenominational Christian camp for girls in 2nd to 12th grades. We provide a positive, supervised environment where girls can learn new skills, develop confidence, build new friendships, grow in faith, form lifetime memories and have lots of FUN!

Established in 1965, NeKaMo Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Association of Cedarbrook Camps. NeKaMo's program emphasizes skill building, creativity, respect for others, nature appreciation, and a recognition that Jesus Christ affects every aspect of life.

Cub Creek Science Camp

The ultimate camp for the animal enthusiast! We are home to over 250 animals. Every camper can choose their favorite animal and adopt it for their stay at camp. Campers choose two week long courses for each week they are at camp. We have 28 courses to choose from including; Jr Vet, Adopt an Animal, Archery, Culinary Science, Survival Skills, Crime Science and many more. Campers also choose two additional one hour activities each day as well as free time and cabin group activities.

TOUR Academy Junior Camp at Tiffany Greens Golf Club

Overnight Junior Camp - Boys and girls, ages 12-18, recommended for advanced and tournament level juniors. Price includes all meals, housing, golf activities and TOUR Academy camp amenity package. Student to teacher ratio is 6:1. This camp runs Sunday through Thursday.

This program is a golf-intensive program complete with seminars, guest speakers, video analysis and on-course instruction. YMCA Camp Lakewood's co-ed summer overnight camp for kids ages 6-17 of all abilities and located 90 minutes south of St. Louis, provides a well-rounded experience for campers by getting them outdoors while having fun, making new friends and learning new skills. With a 360-acre lake, 5,200 wooded acres, caves, creeks and more, there are many opportunities for adventure, natural exploration and experiential learning.
