Now in our 18th year, the Revolution Lacrosse Camp for Girls has grown into one of the most popular lacrosse camps in the Midwest. The College of Wooster camp is Ohio’s only 5 day / 4 night camp and provides the necessary repetitions and skill development time on the fields for maximum improvement.

There are many lacrosse camps throughout the country, many are designed as recruiting opportunities, some are team camps for game play. The Revolution Lacrosse camps are designed for individual development. Hallmarks of our programs are well-organized days of instruction specific to each position and skill level, that progress through the duration of the camp.

        FAQ's

Q: Are there Skill Requirements for this camp?

Per NCAA rules, our sports camps are open to all entrants. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp.

Q: What type of campers attend this camp?

Our camps are open to all levels of tennis players. We have players from absolute beginner to high school / Tournament level.

We design our camps to teach the technical basics and love of the game to the beginning player, to introduce strategical decision making, and more advanced technique to the intermediate player, while building on their current stroke production, and to put the advanced players into pressured, strategical and competitive situations.

        Q. What is the ratio of campers to staff?

Groups will be divided into small instructional groups of approximately 5-6: 1 camper to coach. Some camps/sessions offer higher or lower ratios based on the curriculum.

        Q. If the camp is full, do you have a waiting list?

To be added to the waitlist, please register here (there is no fee to join the waitlist).

        Q. Should I purchase camp/cancellation insurance?

We recommend all families purchase camp/cancellation insurance if they are concerned about the investment they are making in the camp. Kids do get injured, sick and family plans change from the time of registration leading up to the camp. Camp insurance allows peace of mind and has many benefits in any of these events. Please review our policies page for more information about camp/cancellation insurance. Click Here

            Safety:

            •  Camp safety is our number one priority. All efforts are made to ensure that the kids are safe throughout the camp. Safety will be prioritized over tennis and activities when necessary. The camp, Wilson Sporting Goods, Premier Sports camps and its coaches and universities are not responsible for personal items brought to camp.

                        • If you are attending the camp as an overnight camper, you can request a roommate at the time of enrollment. Should you need to change this request, please email the office at Here. We can usually meet your request of 1 roommate, however, please keep in mind that many parents have conflicting requests. (Player A request Player B and Player B request Player C). We will do our very best to sort out these issues ahead of camp, however, if there is a mistake or change that needs to be made at camp check-in, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to make that change.

Each dorm has a different setup. Some are doubles, triples, quads and suites. If you would like to have players in rooms next to each other, we again, will do our best to accommodate. Please please email the office at Here for such requests.

Should you wish to room with more than just 1 person, we will do everything in our power to arrange for this, if the room level (double, triple etc…) allows.

                                    LIZ FORD

                                    HEAD WOMEN’S COACH

                                    The College of Wooster

Through 13 seasons, Elizabeth Ford has won about 70 percent of her games (144-65-1; .688) and three North Coast Athletic Conference championships, while maintaining Wooster’s reputation as one of the best NCAA Div. III West and now Mid-South Region women’s lacrosse programs in the 2000s.

Highlighting Ford’s tenure, the Fighting Scots added NCAC titles in 2007, 2009, and 2010, marking their fourth, fifth, and sixth over a 10-year period, and with them, received berths into the NCAA Tournament. Her teams have reached double-digit win totals 11 times, including 12-5 in 2007, 12-4 in 2009, 12-4 in 2010, 12-5-1 in 2012, 13-5 in 2013, 13-4 in 2015, 11-6 in 2016, 11-5 in 2017, and 12-4 in 2018, and for her efforts, Ford was the 2009 IWLCA West Region Coach of the Year, the 2007 NCAC co-Coach of the Year, and the 2018 NCAC Coach of the Year.

Last season, Ford’s squad advanced to the championship game of the NCAC Tournament for the 12th time in program history and first since 2013.

Outside of Wooster, Ford gained international coaching experience during the summer of 2011, as she headed the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) under-19 team at the Women’s Lacrosse World Championship in Hannover, Germany.

My son had a great time and improved his skills. Very well run program!

                                    Parent of Lucas S.

My son thoroughly enjoyed the camp. Had the time of his life. His only complaint was that the dorms the Lacrosse kids were in were really junky compared to the kids at the other camps. Other than that the coaches were great, the meals were great and we will be sending her kid back next year.

                                    Parent of Jake S.

My son learned a lot, enjoyed the interaction with the coaches and had fun. In his words, “It was a great experience, Thanks Dad.”

                                    Parent of Tommy S.

My son Isaac loved camp. He came home every night talking about what he learned and how much he enjoyed the staff. It was well worth this investment.
