Week long classes are available to enlighten and motivate your child through a broad range of creative disciplines and fun yet challenging artistic projects. Choose between either morning or afternoon sessions, or sign them up for both! This drawing class will be so much fun, and the students will discover the magical world of drawing while learning the basic skills and concepts. Working from photo references (you can work from your print, laptop, iPhone or iPad) we will explore simple objects, still life and a landscape. Using pencil and blending stumps, we will focus on the principles of composition, proportions and balance, applied in the process of creating the drawing.

This class is for students who have no experience in jewelry making. Instruction covers the fundamentals of basic tools and safety in the jewelry studio. Using a limited palette, students will learn the basics of color theory and how to apply them for realistic or spectacular effects. Working from still-life, or a photograph, participants will learn to identify and mix color to define three-dimensional forms, learn composition, new painting techniques, and perhaps find their own voice, style and love for painting.
