Nike Soccer Camp at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs is directed by experienced coach Lewis Wilcox. Colorado Springs is conveniently located just 70 miles south of Denver. This camp is designed for soccer players of all abilities, ages 9-16, to develop athletically, refine their fundamental skills and enhance their skill set at their chosen position: forward, midfielder, defense or goalkeeper positions. Located on the beautiful campus of UC Colorado Springs, campers will have the opportunity to experience the college lifestyle. Our goal is to stimulate a love for the game by immersing you in the sport and giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. HOUSING
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year.
- Number of Campers Per Room: 4 (Suite Style with 2 rooms/2 beds in each)
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual, If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new! Roommate assignments will be given out at check-in
- Linens: Not provided. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel
- Air Conditioning: Yes! AC is available

- Meals: Lunch & Dinner is provided for Day & Extended Day Campers
- A closing ceremony will take place approximately 30 minutes prior to camp check-out on the last day. Parents are invited to attend! Departure immediately follows the closing ceremony.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Training from the UC Colorado coaching staff
- Overnight & Extended Day campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
- Supervision: Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout the dorm to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt and prizes
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
- Facility: Alpine Field & Mountain Lion Stadium
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out before camp. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

UCCS campers play on one of the finest synthetic turf soccer facilities in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Mountain Lion Stadium is in its tenth year of operation after renovations in 2005.
The stadium is located on the North Campus of UCCS, which is the future home of the Ent Center for Performing Arts. The complex was formerly known as the Four Diamonds Sports Complex.
