New friends, positive values, personal growth, great adventures, and OUTRAGEOUS FUN are the foundations of the Camp Anokijig experience! Since 1926, this Southeastern Wisconsin summer camp has provided a picturesque landscape for unforgettable childhood memories. Nestled within the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest, near Plymouth, WI, Camp Anokijig offers all of the traditional youth camp experiences and activities you would expect, plus so much more! We believe an Anokijig camp experience will provide your child with opportunities to learn and grow and develop lifelong skills to become contributing members of their communities. Your child will learn new skills while enjoying outdoor education programs, adventure trips, leadership experiences, and leisure activities.

Our most popular Resident Camp program consists of two Skill Periods that feature specific camp activities of the camper's choice, Directed Free Periods where campers choose their own activities, Sectional Activities where campers who live together, play together, and All-Camp Activities. Skill and Free Period activities consist of fencing, archery, arts & crafts, horseback riding, digital photography, glee choir, ukulele band, land games/field riot, canoeing, woodworking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, dance, drama, nature, aquatics, trail crafts, pellet guns, and paddle sports. Additional all-camp activities include campfires, beach parties, carnivals, dances, specialty days, talent shows, and more! Camp Anokijig also offers Specialty Focus camps and off-site Adventure Trips. Specialty Camps combine all the activities of 'Resident Camp' with a focus on one particular activity for part of the day. Choose from Ranch, Circle-A-Riders, Fishing Expeditions, Competitive Swimming, Jewelry Creations, Comedy Camp, or Teen Adventure Challenge. If high adventure is calling your child, sign up for one of our Adventure trips. Choose from Sylvania Wilderness Canoe & Fishing, Rock, Roll, & Splash Adventure, Apostle Island Sea Kayaking, or Whitewater Adventure. Camp Anokijig is accredited by the American Camp Association, and is built upon the impressive tradition of values like caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. This Southeastern Wisconsin, co-ed camp provides an enriching experience by welcoming campers ages 7-16 for sessions lasting from 4 days to one or more weeks.
