Creative Revolution: Learn to Use Your Art to Make a Difference

Creative Revolution is a two-week online summer program that teaches teens (13-17) from all creative backgrounds how to use their art form to create social change.

The program (which is August 3-14) consists of 2-hour live zoom events on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30-3:30pm EST. The remaining work (which consists of engaging video tutorials, assignments and quizzes) can be completed on the participant's own time. Topics include but are not limited to:

Introduction to artivism

Tools/methods for incorporating messaging in your art and better communicating your messaging to your audience

Leveraging your artistic influence for the social benefit of marginalized groups

Analysis of artistic activism in its various forms

Online activism

Tying your art to social issues in more tangible ways

Measuring the effectiveness of your impact

Activism as a brand
