New York Film Academy Acting for Film in Australia

In Summer 2021, Acting for Film Camps will be held in the following locations:

Acting for Film Camps for Teens: Online and in Gold Coast, Australia; New York City, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Florence, Italy; Paris, France

Acting for Film Camps for Kids: Online and in Gold Coast, Australia; New York City, NY; Los Angeles, CA

There will be no housing or transportation available for any campus. Parents and students will be responsible for travel and their own hotel accommodations (please also note that minors in the US (under the age of 18) cannot check into hotels without a parent or guardian physically present).

Acting camp students will learn: how to adjust performance in accordance with the type of shot the director chooses, how to shoot out of sequential sequence, and how to function with focus and relaxation in the midst of the chaos of a film set. The comprehensive curriculum applies the vital areas for studying the acting craft.

Best known as the "destination for fun", Australia's Gold Coast boasts a fantastic range of amusement parks, white-sandy beaches with crystal blue water, trendy outdoor shopping districts, cafes and an energetic nightlife. It's an inspiring place to live and learn especially for an aspiring filmmaker, actor or actress. The world-famous city of Brisbane is a short drive north, with easy access to a variety of natural attractions and scenery including beautiful Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, rainforests and rolling rural landscapes.
