Located at La Grande High School, NBC Basketball is hosting a fun and skill-intensive basketball training for younger athletes in 2024. The Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp is perfect for players, aged 8-12, who want to improve their basketball fundamentals, leadership, sportsmanship, confidence, and work habits. The experienced NBC coaches are dedicated to allowing you to take your game to the next level. BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
What to Bring: Campers should bring a sack lunch, basketball, water bottle, and completed medical release waiver (online).
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are suited for athletes who are younger or newer to the game of basketball. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

- 12:45pm PM Session: Afternoon Program with NBC Theme, leadership training, and discussion groups
