NEBRASKA 2024 OVERNIGHT VOLLEYBALL CAMP

Located at Union Adventist University in Lincoln, NE, NBC Volleyball is excited to bring a girls' overnight volleyball camp. These camps are designed for players who are passionate about the game and are willing to work hard to improve. Led by a top-notch NBC coaching staff, campers will work on skill development, gameplay, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership. If athletes are looking to elevate their game and increase their confidence, register early to experience the NBC Camps difference! OVERNIGHT CAMPER INFORMATION

Daily Times for Overnight & Extended Day: First-day check-in begins at 12:30 pm for overnight and extended day campers. Extended Day times from 8:30 am-9:30 pm daily and end on the final day at 4:00 pm with the overnight campers (Director will provide exact drop-off and pick-up times)

EXTENDED DAY CAMPER SCHEDULE & INFORMATION

First day: 12:30 pm-9:30 pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 8:30 am-9:30 pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Last day: 8:30 am-4:00 pm.

Extended-day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Complete Player Camps offer training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player Volleyball curriculum is all-encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of volleyball with excellence. Complete Player Camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening.

ROOMMATES & HOUSING

Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to add a roommate request.

Bathrooms: Campers share a common bathroom
Supervision: boys and girls are separated into different dorms or different floors with coaches of the same gender staying in the dorms for supervision.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own ball (clearly labeled with their name).
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.

HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS

All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out the mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. This camp does NOT require a doctor's signature on the forms.

CAMP INFORMATION PACKET

A detailed Camp Information Packet containing check-in location and address, on-site staff contact information, a checklist of things to bring, site-specific forms, and more will be emailed to all registered campers before camp. To check if your Camp Information Packet is ready, click here.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your son on time.

ABOUT THE CAMPUS

Union College is in a safe and quiet Lincoln, Nebraska neighborhood. The school is older, and the gym is a quaint old-fashioned wood court. It's the perfect spot to work on volleyball skills in a personal and safe setting.

Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations.

Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive resources, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize the camp experience. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With 50 years of successful history, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.
