Join NBC Basketball this summer for an awesome camp experience for athletes from Montana and beyond!
Located just four miles north of Montana State University, NBC Camps will be hosting two Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camps at Petra Academy in 2024. These camps are designed to increase each athlete’s fundamental skills, basketball knowledge, self-discipline, and leadership abilities. NBC's encouraging, fun camp atmosphere will inspire each athlete to be the best they can be - on and off the court. Camps focus on helping students in the four components of physical, mental, relational, and spiritual well-being in the context of becoming stronger and better on and off the court. Camps include grit, leadership, goal setting, accountability, compassion, and the importance of personal faith.
NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971. Camps focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith and Christian values of integrity, compassion, and that each person is a miracle. Camps are intense and are for those who love basketball enough to work hard.

BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (The Director will provide exact drop-off and pick-up times - first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for young athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. These camps are specifically designed for the younger athlete. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are much more conducive for a younger athlete and we highly recommend this camp as a starting point for the younger player before coming to an overnight camp. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00am Welcome and warm up
- 9:20am AM Session: Shooting, Dribbling, Effective Passing, Defense Intensity Drills (drills designed for age appropriate)
- 12:00pm Lunch Break - campers bring sack lunch
- 12:45pm Afternoon Program with NBC Theme and skits
- 1:45pm PM Session: Group drills and 5on5 games
- 4:00pm Camper dismissal
Petra Academy is located on the West side of Bozeman, MT. The newly built gymnasium has six basketball hoops.

What level of basketball is taught at this Bozeman Basketball Camp?
This camp is designed for the younger or beginning/intermediate players. NBC Camps focuses on solid fundamental work and we desire that our students in this program have a great time, improve their fundamental skills, and continue to work hard after camp is over on their new skills. For more intensive camps we recommend our overnight camps in Billings, Montana where campers play between 6-10 hours per day.
