Camp Director Larry Spears
Larry Spears serves as the Memphis Sports and Events Center's (MSEC's) Sr. Programs Director, overseeing camps, clinics, leagues and training for both youth and adults.

Coach Jordan Cooper
Jordan Cooper serves as the MSEC's Sports Coordinator as well as Lead Instructor for the HOOPS 901 Basketball Club. A skilled athlete, Coach Jordan has past sports administration experience via the Kroc Center of Memphis and is a former NBA G League/Memphis Hustle tryout prospect.

Coach Jay Roper
Jay Roper is an MSEC Sports Associate and helps operate the facility's camps, clinics, leagues and training. Coach Jay played collegiately, has served as a Youth Basketball Instructor for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies and also coaches at the high school level.

Coach Allen McClain
Allen McClain is the MSEC's Tournament Director. Coach Allen played collegiately at Bethel University and semi-professionally in the ABA while also spending 5+ years as Lead Youth Basketball Instructor for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Information
Memphis Sports and Events Center is located at 995 Early Maxwell Boulevard, Memphis, TN. Located across from the Midsouth Coliseum and easily found via its large, exterior video board signage. Ample parking is available in the lot and parents/guardians can sign their children in and out at the front desk.
Pre/Post Care and Lunch
Pre/post-care and lunch options will be presented to registrants via email by Memphis Sports and Events Center staff the week prior to their camp involvement.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Memphis Sports and Events Center (MSEC) is a 227,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility featuring 16 basketball courts under one roof. Located within Liberty Park, other amenities include a full-service cafe, sports performance area, esports studio, kids entertainment zone and more. The MSEC was designed to drive local programming during the week while supporting sports tourism (via tournaments and special events) on the weekends.
