A Step Ahead (ASA) Nike Basketball Camps are designed for the player looking to improve their game and basketball IQ. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offense/defense, team play, and more.

Director Chris Foley
A graduate of Tabor Academy and the University of Hartford where he played 4 years for the Hawks, Chris has been a high school coach in the area for over 25 years. Chris currently is the boys head Varsity coach at Monty Tech in Fitchburg where he has been coaching for the past 10 years.

Perron serves as the Assistant Athletic Director and Boys Basketball Coach at St. Mark's School in Southborough, MA.

Staff ASA Hoops
The ASA Hoops coaching staff is made up of some of the most talented and seasoned coaches in New England! All of the ASA coaches are trained and registered to ensure all campers receive high-quality instruction in a fun and safe environment.

Session I: July 10-14
Session II: July 17-21
Camp Hours
Check-in: Monday at 8:30AM
Half Day Hours: MON-FRI 9AM-12PM
Full Day Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-3PM FRI 9AM-2PM
St. Mark's School COVID-19 Policy
Per St. Mark's School Policy, COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but optional for campers unless the FDA grants full approval for the vaccine for children. If the FDA fully approves a COVID-19 vaccine for children under the age of 16, families will have an 8-week grace period to vaccinate eligible campers or submit a request for exemption. Please note, all campers will be notified of this change if applicable.

If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!
PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

● Small gym bag/backpack
CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
