at Nike Basketball Camps
Hone in your basketball goals during summer 2024 just outside of Sarasota, Florida with Bradenton Christian School Head Coach Scott Townsend and Sarasota High School Head Coach BJ Ivey! Their team of skilled coaches and players are ready to work with you to help you enhance your individual and team play skills through drills, discussions, and scrimmages at these boys-only and girls-only basketball camps.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.
The Shooting Camp emphasizes technique, footwork, shooting drills, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, shooting games, free throw shooting, and post/perimeter shooting.

Camp Director Scott Townsend
Scott Townsend is the Head Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach at Bradenton Christian School. Coach Townsend has been the head coach since 2010 and has been apart of seven State Final Fours and one State Runner Up. He prides himself in developing extremely hard-working players with discipline and strong fundamentals to prepare them for the next level.

Camp Meals
Snacks are not included. Please bring a snack and bottled water.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Bradenton Christian School, located in Bradenton, Florida, is a 3A school and a member of the Bay Conference. Interscholastic sports are offered at both the senior high and middle school levels including Basketball, Baseball, Cross-country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, and Wrestling.
