Camp Questions & Answers

How do you separate campers into groups?

We use high school graduation year and experience level to separate field players into groups of about 12 campers for each coach. The group gets their own coach assigned to them and instruction is tailored to experience level. Coaches are given the leeway to increase or decrease the difficulty level of the drills based on what they see in the players.

Do you accept beginners?

Absolutely yes! We love to have beginners and they get their own group with their own coach. Beginners can develop at their own pace. During scrimmages the beginners match up on each other to help alleviate that nervous "first time in a game" feeling.

What about goalies?

Goalies also get their own group and their own coach. Some of the best college goalie coaches are on our staff. We get you someone who coaches goalies for a living. Goalies have their own station and join with the field players when they're ready.

Show Less See More Questions & Answers

I'm an experienced player. Is this camp going to help?

We think so. Our coaching staff is primarily made up of college coaches who coach lacrosse for a living. Many run their own camps but like to come to "different" lacrosse areas to help develop the game. Even if you think you've heard it all these coaches will find a way to make you a better player.

Camp Reviews

Overall Average Rating 5.00 / 5 Stars
    • 5/5.

August 9, 2023: My daughter’s confidence grew exponentially with the support of the coaches and teammates. She shared the coaches were exceptional in teacher her new skills and breaking down moves that she had questions about. They struck a great balance of challenge with encouragement. She also appreciated the different styles of coaching. As for the athletes, she said they were all so friendly and encouraging. She liked that she was assigned appropriately to her teams where she fell in the middle with experience level. She learned (& was inspired by) her team and her field sense & lax IQ has improved. She really appreciated mixing with the overnight campers and hanging out with them during break periods. Even though she was a day camper, she felt very included. Last but not least - Paul, the Director, was highly informative and always made you feel like you had his full attention. I asked a question during check in and he was very supportive. I also connected with him several times during pick up - he was easy to talk to and shared lots of good info. We'll definitely be back at this location next year. Thank you!
