2024 DATES AND PRICES NOW AVAILABLE!

USSC is excited to partner with the Gold Medal Swim Camps and Georgia Tech’s Head Swim Coach, Courtney Shealy Hart. The camp will focus on developing and enhancing the training and racing skills of competitive swimmers ages 8-18. Campers will learn from the best coaches in the region and have dry sessions on strength, conditioning, nutrition, college life, and Olympic Team experiences.

The school's Atlanta campus spans 400 wooded acres in the heart of Atlanta. Competitive swimmers from Georgia and beyond can train and improve their strokes at the McAuley Aquatic Center, home of the Yellow Jackets Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Team. Overnight campers reside in campus housing located a short walk from the pool and eat all meals in the campus dining hall.

The Gold Medal Competitive Swim Camp is open to any and all entrants. The Swim Camp is open to all campers ages 8-18, who have a competitive swimming background. These are not learn to swim camps. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 meters freestyle and backstroke unassisted. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Highlights Include
  • Stroke technique refinement for competitive swimming
  • Each camper will be videotaped in all four strokes, above and below the surface of the water
  • Guest speaker on improving mental edge and performance!
  • Low camper to staff ratio
  • Fun evening social activities
  • Every camper receives a Camp T-shirt and Swim Cap
  • Every camper is eligible to receive merit-based prizes during camp

June 26, 2023: The amount of skill work that was taught and the underwater video filming sessions. I loved that the head swim coach was at camp each day coaching the drills and interacting with the campers. Most camps we have attended do not have that. The head coach makes an appearance every once in a while. I loved that head coach was a huge part of camp and taught drills and made corrections in these athletes.
