Who said summer camps were just for kids? Our Tennessee adult tennis camp in Murfreesboro is a new tennis clinic for adults held at Middle Tennessee State University. Enjoy three days packed with serious tennis instruction and fun!
We are excited to return to the Murfreesboro area with our Nike Adult Tennis Camp. Camp will be held at the band-new state-of-the-art MTSU Tennis Complex.

Camp Director Tayo Bailey-Duvall
Tayo Bailey, a former all-conference player for the Bulldogs, was hired as head women's tennis coach at Butler University in June 2012. Bailey returned to her alma mater after professional coaching stints in Chicago and Miami.

Staff Staff
Our other camp staff will include certified USPTA pros, college coaches, Division I college players, and experts from the Universities Exercise Science department.

CAMP PROGRAM
We offer a weekend adult day camp that runs Friday-Sunday, geared towards players age 18+ of all abilities. Camp is geared towards adult players of all levels. Upon arrival all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Our adult tennis programs combine technical instruction and drilling from a top notch coaching staff as well as match play.
CAMP SCHEDULE
- Check-In: 4:00pm on Friday
- Check-Out: 12:00pm on Sunday
- Friday
- 4:00pm-6:30pm: Tennis evaluation and drills, stroke instruction
- 6:30pm-7:30pm: Camper social
- Saturday
- 9:00am-12:00pm: Stroke drills and doubles drills
- 12:00pm-2:00pm: Lunch on your own
- 2:00pm-5:00pm: Tennis match play
- 7:00pm: Group dinner together at a local restaurant (not included in camp tuition price)
- Sunday
- 8:30am-12:00pm: Doubles and singles drills and point play
Please note: This is a Day Camp only and runs during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 4:1 camper to coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes and a water bottle
- Facility: Campers will utilize the 8 tennis courts at the brand-new MTSU Tennis Complex.
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
