Adirondack Camp is a coed sleep-away camp for 180-200 young people from around the world, with a balanced mix of boys and girls. Compared to many overnight camps, this makes us intentionally small-small enough that everyone truly knows your name. Alongside our campers, more than 100 dedicated staff members create a supportive environment, with typically three counselors for every 8 to 16 campers.
Set deep in the Adirondacks, our camp sits half-hidden in a safe and awe-inspiring natural landscape, surrounded on three sides by the crystal-clear, drinkable waters of world famous Lake George. With over a mile and a half of pristine waterfront, campers spend their days swimming, paddling, and exploring-fully immersed in nature and completely screen free.
While many camps rely on modern amenities, we intentionally take a different approach. You won't find central air, a traditional swimming pool, or constant access to screens and devices. Cabins are simple and comfortable, designed to encourage connection with nature and with one another. Without the usual distractions of technology and busy surroundings, campers have the space to slow down, be present, and fully engage in the experience around them.
Adirondack Camp is a place that puts kids first. Within the support of a caring community, each camper embarks on their own journey of self-discovery and personal growth. The goals are many to rest from the pressures of modern life, build meaningful friendships, gain confidence, have fun, and embrace values like cooperation, effort, leadership, courage, responsibility, creativity, and independence.
The objective is singular: to have the best summer of your child's young life, because the summers that shape a child don't just fill time; they shape who they become.
