Randolph-Macon Academy offers residential and day camps for students in grades six through twelve. The Academy is located on 135 acres, with the Shenandoah River and the famous Skyline Drive nearby. The overnight facilities include air-conditioned dorm rooms, with two campers sharing a room.

The Middle School Academic Camp is for rising sixth through eighth grade students for overnight campers, and rising fifth through eighth graders for day campers. Students participate in four academic sessions in the morning, which this year will center around the theme "Under the Sea Exploration." During the afternoons, evenings and weekends, students may participate in on-campus activities such as arts and crafts, dodge ball, basketball, soccer, or swimming, or go off-campus for laser tag, rafting, bowling, movies, or amusement park trips. This camp is offered as a two-week session June 28-July 10 and July 12-24, and as a four-week session June 28-July 24. Staying on campus during the weekends is optional.

The Upper School Summer School, for students in grades 9-12, lasts four weeks (June 28-July 24) and provides students with one full high school credit a new core course, or students may opt to re-take two courses to improve a grade, strengthen their skills, or as a review to help prepare for an SAT subject test. Electives include a Drone Applications course. A full list of available classes are available on our website. Classes are held from 8:00 am to approximately 3:45 p.m. After a study hall time and dinner, students enjoy various evening activities, such as bowling, movies, swimming, and on-campus sports.

English as a Second Language is available to residential students entering grades six through twelve in the fall. After an intense day of studying and classwork, students have time to interact with English-speaking students during meals and activities. They also go on local field trips and learn about American culture. Students stay in age-appropriate dorms and attend the weekend trips. This full immersion course runs June 28-July 24.

The Flight Camp is a four-week program (June 28-July 24) that provides flight time in a Cessna 172, practice on a state-of-the-art flight simulator, work with unmanned aerial vehicles, and field trips to museums, airfields, and corporations to learn about career opportunities in the aviation world.
