The Field Hockey & Leadership Academy is a unique camp where players not only enhance their field hockey skills but also learn to be effective leaders and strong teammates. This is the perfect opportunity for dual-sport athletes, as you have the opportunity to train in lacrosse as well as field hockey.At camp, we focus on helping campers understand the value of being part of something bigger than themselves, – whether it's a team, a cause, or a community. The program combines top-tier field hockey instruction with leadership workshops and off-field activities designed to promote teamwork, communication, and leadership. By the end of the camp, participants will not only be better field hockey players, but also valuable leaders who have the potential to make an impact on their team, school, or community.Join us for a transformative summer experience which takes place in the beautiful setting of Middleburg, VA. The Foxcroft School offers state-of-the-art facilities, making it the perfect setting for the Field Hockey & Leadership Academy.The camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each participant will be assessed and grouped with others of a similar age and skill level. Adjustments to groups may be made throughout the week to ensure campers have the opportunity to train with and compete against different players. Through a mix of drills, games, and scrimmages, each camper will have the chance to learn, improve, and enjoy field hockey in a supportive and dynamic environment.At camp, we will help campers learn about being part of something – a team or cause – bigger than themselves. The camp will combine outstanding field hockey instruction with off-field activities and workshops designed to promote teamwork and teach leadership skills. At the end of camp, we want all campers to not only be better field hockey players, but also recognize how as leaders they can be more valuable to their team, their school, and their community.Learning the critical life lessons to guide you as a responsible member of your school, community, family & team will serve you for years to come. The FHLA role models, the field hockey game & the women's leadership workshops balanced with some summer fun all takes place among the beautiful natural setting of The Foxcroft School in Middleburg, VA.
