High quality canoe and backpacking adventures and wilderness trips in the BWCAW, Quetico Provincial Park and in the finest wilderness areas throughout North America. "Widji" wilderness trips focus on respect and values that build skills for life as they develop an unparalleled relationship with the environment.

Our program offers a progressive challenge and growth for teens. As campers return year after year for more challenging trips, they build upon their wilderness skills and take on greater leadership roles.

At the core of our programs are the Y values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. And Respect is the foundation for all Widji sessions and trips: respect for self, for others, and for the environment.

Our commitment to nurturing the potential of children and teens, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility come alive at YMCA camps.
