Are you ready for positive, life-changing experiences in the outdoors? With three unique overnight camps, look no further than YMCA Overnight Camps of San Diego. We combine the fun your children want with the growth experiences they need.

Located in the mountains of Julian, California, YMCA Raintree Ranch is a specialty horseback riding summer camp designed for youth ages 9-16. This small, close-knit camp focuses on western horseback riding, horse care, and classic camp activities, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for young equestrians.

Campers spend their days riding horses, learning horsemanship skills, and caring for the horses, building confidence and responsibility while forming meaningful connections with both animals and peers. With friendly horses, multiple riding arenas, and miles of scenic trails, Raintree Ranch offers an ideal environment for beginners through advanced riders.

Our signature Bolo Horsemanship Program provides a structured progression that helps campers improve riding skills, develop technique, and advance through levels. Whether your child is new to horseback riding or experienced, they will grow through hands-on learning and personalized instruction. Beyond horseback riding, campers enjoy a full range of traditional summer camp activities, including:
