Camp Dovewood for Girls

Camp Dovewood: One of the best Horseback riding camps for girls in North Florida, with English and Western riding instruction, horse shows, trail rides, grooming and stable management. Dovewood is an interdenominational Christian camp for girls 7-17 with 24 additional fun-filled activities for girls to select. We are accredited with Certified Horsemanship and American Camping Assocation, and offer one and two week sessions: Two weeks: June 8-21 $1,495, One week: June 22nd-28th $950 3rd session 2 wks June 29th-July 12th $1,495 and 4th session: 1 wk. July 13th-July 19th $950.This is our 48th year.


About Florida Cheerleading Camps and Programs

Chants, cheers and stunts: your camper will learn all of these and more at cheerleading camp. Available in both overnight and day camps, these camps are designed to give campers an edge in the highly competitive world of cheerleading. Camp sessions usually last between one and three days. Campers will learn tricks, tips and techniques to make them stand out and they'll learn such skills as partner stunting, partner building as well as dance choreography and much more. Most cheerleading camps will accommodate your child's entire team, allowing them to build and grow as a unit. If your cheerleader really wants to succeed, then attending cheer camp is the way to go.

Equipment to Bring: Cheerleaders are welcome to bring their uniforms and pom poms for practices and showcases, otherwise comfortable athletic clothing and shoes are suggested.

Counselor Certifications: The best cheerleading camps employ counselors and instructors who are cheerleading professionals and members of the National Cheerleading Association, at the very least.

Levels of Expertise: No matter how experienced, every cheerleader or camper who wishes to become a cheerleader is welcome. Curriculums are designed to accommodate every skill level, building on skills they already may have or teaching the very basics.
