We have conducted Summer Horsemanship Camps at Pinebrook Farms since 1975. The goal of our co-educational, resident camps is for youngsters to safely learn good horsemanship, while having a great time in a family oriented atmosphere. Activities and programs also teach responsibility, cooperation, courage and self-esteem. The camp is licensed by the Texas Department of Health, and its horsemanship program has been approved, and site accredited by CHA, Certified Horsemanship Association. Every year, since 1998, Pinebrook Farms has received a Certificate of Award for Safety by the North American Horseman's Association.

Kickapoo Kamp is a private residential girls summer camp located in the Texas Hill Country, nine miles southwest of Kerrville, Texas. Our history and our smaller size set us apart from other private girls camps. Limiting our enrollment to 110 campers allows us to emphasize the family atmosphere we feel is so important. Our evening activities are an all-camp activity so all ages participate together. Relationships develop among all ages not just within the campers own age group. All campers, from age 6 to 17 know each other and all the counselors by name. Kickapoo offers a fun environment that helps to build self-confidence, self-awareness and...

About Texas Art Camps and Programs
Art camps provide kids and teenagers with a safe, nurturing environment to express themselves, develop new skills, and explore their creativity. These camps provide a variety of experiences that let your child experiment with various materials and techniques, regardless of whether they are already passionate about art or are just starting to show an interest. Away from the demands of grades or competition, campers are encouraged to explore and find their own artistic voice through a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed media.
One of the biggest advantages of art camp is the way they foster self-expression and confidence. Your child can develop a sense of satisfaction and success as they design and finish their own art projects. Each child will be supported by experienced instructors to take creative risks with their projects. Art camp is a place where children who might not usually flourish in more academic or athletic environments can really shine.
In addition to nurturing your child’s artistic abilities, art camps impart important life lessons like perseverance, concentration, and problem-solving. Campers frequently work on multi-step projects that call for preparation and the ability to see a project through to completion. Children also learn how to share and receive feedback, work together on original ideas, and value other viewpoints in group settings.
Art camps are a great option for parents who want their kids to enjoy a creative experience that builds emotional intelligence and self-confidence. End-of-camp shows are a common feature of many programs, where campers proudly display their creations and give their families insight into their artistic development. In addition to keeping young brains active during school breaks, art camp helps kids find new interests, gain self-confidence, and cultivate a lifelong respect for the arts.
