Timbertop Camp for Youth with Learning Disabilities

Timbertop is an overnight camp designed for boys and girls that have been identified by their School District as needing extra help for a special learning need. Specific learning disabilities may include: OHI, ADHD, ADD, LD, SLD, and dyslexia. Youth receiving support services such as Leveled Learning Intervention (LLI), Reading Support and Title 1, are also eligible. For children and teenagers with learning disabilities and/or ADHD, specialized camps can offer a supportive, fun environment that is customized to meet their individual needs. These camps are carefully designed to provide a healthy, stress-free atmosphere where your child can flourish without the stigma or stress that they would experience in other settings. Every activity, from academics to recreation, is tailored to meet children where they are, allowing them to learn, develop, and have fun at their own speed.

Camps for people with learning disabilities and/or ADHD benefits campers from both socially and as an individual. The instructors and counselors in this camps are skilled and trained in working with neurodiverse campers. The experienced staff then provides a safe atmosphere for campers to develop independence and self-worth. Through practical experiences, artistic endeavors, and group activities, campers get inspired to identify their passions and unique strengths.
