US Sports Camps is excited to offer the 2022 New Jersey Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at The Pennington School. Located only 8 miles from Princeton, The Pennington School is an excellent collegiate preparatory school with outstanding athletic facilities. Campers reside in comfortable air-conditioned dorms on the beautiful Pennington campus and practice on fields located within walking distance. At the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp, our goal is to bring out the very best in every player we coach. To achieve this goal Rachel Perla and her staff will focus on providing a better understanding of the game of lacrosse in a fun and exciting manner. All skills and drills will be age appropriate and will help foster the fundamentals and demands of the sport in a positive way. Skills emphasized will include: stick work, shooting fundamentals, agility and fitness training, communication activities, multiple player concepts, game situations and team building.

The Clark Family Running Camp at The Pennington School will be offering Cross Country (XC) Only in 2022. We will offer our traditional Clark Family Running Camp for Track and Field Campers at The Peddie School (Hightstown, NJ) from July 3 - July 7. At the Clark Family Cross Country Camp we understand the importance of proper training and educating young runners. We work with High School athletes (including rising freshmen) of all abilities to help you get better. Located in Pennington, NJ, The Pennington School offers the perfect setting for our cross country training program. This beautiful 54 acre campus offers running trails, an outdoor track and turf field, as well as being located a short distance from Rosedale Park for morning training runs. The Nike Clark Family XC Camp is directed and facilitated by its original creators and members of the royal family of track and field, the Clark Family. Hazel Clark, Joetta Clark and Jearl Miles Clark have 12 Olympic teams to their credit, and made history when they swept the 2000 Olympic trials under the coaching of world class coach JJ Clark, brother of Hazel and Joetta, and husband to Jearl Miles Clark.

About New Jersey Overnight Camps
Overnight camp is fun for kids of all ages who want to sleep away from home. They usually take place in the summer, and they can feature a range of activities, from hiking and swimming to rock wall climbing and competitions. Choosing which overnight summer camp is best for your child depends on a number of factors, such as maturity levels, personal interests, age and ability.
Highlights: Some camps have specialties that focus on a particular academic area, such as math or computers, while another may focus on the performing arts, for example. Other overnight camps offer a traditional camp setting, with a variety of campfire games, sports and water activities to try out.
Counselor Certifications: Depending on the type of overnight summer camp, each counselor should have the proper licensing and certifications to work with children. They should be fully background checked, plus have plenty of experience in their field. Some are volunteers, usually college age kids, who help out the instructors with activities and games.
What to Ask the Camp Counselor: What if I have to cancel for any reason? You may be able to get your money back, less the deposit, if you cancel far enough in advance. If you wait till the last minute, though, you may only get a credit towards a future camp.
