Adirondack Camp

Adirondack Camp is a coed sleep-away camp for 180-200 young people from around the world, with a balanced mix of boys and girls. Compared to many overnight camps, this makes us intentionally small-small enough that everyone truly knows your name. Alongside our campers, more than 100 dedicated staff members create a supportive environment, with typically three counselors for every 8 to 16 campers. Set deep in the Adirondacks, our camp sits half-hidden in a safe and awe-inspiring natural landscape, surrounded on three sides by the crystal-clear, drinkable waters of world famous Lake George. Wakeboarding camp is for those energetic young kids and teens who love this sport and can't get enough of the water. Wakeboarding is a popular beach or river sport that involves balancing on a wakeboard over the surface of the water. For beginners to competitive riders, wakeboading summer camps are staffed by pro and semi-pro riders who focus on the mechanics of wakeboarding, balance, maneuverability and water safety. In between riding, campers can hone their skills on available spin machines, balance boards and trampolines for an extra workout.

What to Ask the Camp Director: Are there weeks-long camps available? Many wakeboarding summer camps offer weekend camps, along with those that last a week or a few. They can tailor a camp to your child's specific needs.

Counselor Certifications: Counselors are often pro and semi-pro riders who know the ropes and have lots of experience. But parents should be sure to ask about the individual certifications of the counselor that will be working with their child.
