About Extreme Sports Camps and Programs
If your children are the kind of kids who are always pushing the limits of what they can do, then perhaps an extreme sports camp is the best summer program for them. Camps that offer extreme sports do so in a safe environment with fully qualified people who will teach your kids how to safely participate in any number of activities. They range by camp, but some activities might include: bungee jumping, dirt bike racing, rock climbing, trapeze and more. Most extreme sports camps offer a variety of more traditional sports such as swimming, horseback riding and other less nail-biting, adrenaline-rushing sports. Located across the country and in Canada, an extreme sports camp experience is one your child will never forget.
Learning Skills: Some camps offer accreditation in sports such as a Jet Ski licenses, lifeguard certification and more.
Safety: Safety is paramount in extreme sports camps. Children are evaluated prior to commencing any extreme sport to ensure they have the skills and physical ability to participate, and prior to being allowed to advance, their skills are assessed. Only qualified instructors are allowed to oversee the training of campers in these sports.
What to Pack: Campers attending extreme camps should bring their own safety helmets if they own one, as well as any specialized clothing (like riding boots or rock climbing gloves) or equipment that they may need based on the activities provided by the camp.
