      About Circus Camps and Programs

Let your kids run away to circus camp! Circus summer camps offer kids a chance to learn circus skills such as juggling, stilt walking, clown skills, tightrope walking, acrobatics and more. These are primarily overnight camps and are offered to children from ages 6 through 17 or 18. Each day, kids at a circus arts camp are taught circus skills by professionals. At the end of the session, the campers have a chance to perform in a demonstration or circus which is attended by family and friends.  When the campers are not actively engaged in learning circus skills they can participate in other activities like arts and crafts, swimming and other traditional camp activities.

Levels of Expertise: Campers come to circus camp with all levels of experience. Some may be completely new to circus arts, while others have some experience that they can build on.

Highlights: Circus camp is usually ended by a demonstration or mini circus where campers can show off their skills.

Equipment to Bring: Circus camps should provide all the necessary equipment, but campers are usually welcome to bring any special items like clown clothing or other circus related items.
