    Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas - Camp Rocky Point

    Waterfront fun, target sports, and cool new crafts on the shores of Lake Texoma at Camp Rocky Point. Adventure is the name of the game. Platform tents provide a camping experience unlike any other. The waterfront is alive with swimming, log-rolling, paddleboarding, and canoeing. On land, Girl Scouts will try archery and other target sports, woodworking, and more. Camp activities progress by age. As girls grow through the program, they get fun new opportunities.     Pinebrook Farms Summer Horsemanship Camp

    We have conducted Summer Horsemanship Camps at Pinebrook Farms since 1975. The goal of our co-educational, resident camps is for youngsters to safely learn good horsemanship, while having a great time in a family oriented atmosphere. Activities and programs also teach responsibility, cooperation, courage and self-esteem. The camp is licensed by the Texas Department of Health, and its horsemanship program has been approved, and site accredited by CHA, Certified Horsemanship Association. Every year, since 1998, Pinebrook Farms has received a Certificate of Award for Safety by the North American Horseman's Association.

    The University of Dallas will again be the home of our boys land girls acrosse camp this summer in Texas. Join GameBreaker's top-notch staff for a great week of lacrosse improvement and fun!     2021 will be our 11th Summer in Ohio! Baldwin Wallace is a perfect campus setting with easy walks to the athletic fields, recreation center, swimming pool, and campus dining facility.       About Texas Day Camps and Programs

      Day camp offers youngsters a chance to participate in a wide variety of sports and activities. Summer day camps are also ideal for younger campers who are perhaps not yet ready for an overnight camp experience. If your child likes to stay busy with a variety of different sports, crafts and other activities, this may be your best camp choice. Some day camps require you to drop off and pick up your child, while others provide transportation from central locations. Some camps provide lunches and snacks, and others do not. The kinds of sports and activities will vary from camp to camp, so be sure to inquire ahead of time about the kinds of activities that will be offered to your child.

      Highlights: Day camps offer the widest variety of sports and activities, though some do specialize. The camp day is typically shorter for children, making it perfect for younger kids.

      Learning Skills: Day camps offer children an introduction to the camping experience. They will learn new sports and crafts, and will learn good sportsmanship from playing on teams and working with their peers. In addition, they'll gain an added sense of independence from the experience.
