    Summer Adventure

    Provide your child with a life changing opportunity this summer Wildwood! With a variety of camp offerings for different ages and interests, a one or two week resident camp session will truly be a highlight of your child's year. Summer Adventure is Wildwood's traditional summer camp program for boys and girls ages 8 to 15. The program is designed to provide each individual camper an opportunity to discover the best of Wildwood, the best of summer camping, and the best in themselves while: Overcoming Challenges: increase self-confidence and develop leadership skills; Applying Science: relate concepts learned in school to real life; and Building Community: learn conflict resolution and respect for diversity. Full and partial scholarships are available for qualifying families. At Wildwood, the classroom is outdoors and the lessons are for life. Wildwood campers don't just leave with unforgettable memories, they leave with improved critical thinking, leadership, problem solving, collaboration, adaptability, intuition and imagination.

    Westfield Area Y

    We provide a safe, engaging and meaningful camp experience with enriching activities, fitness fun, social and emotional learning, and much more. Your child will enjoy a variety of activities every day with friends and peers, exploring math, science, reading, writing, arts, sports, nature and outdoor environment, and global diversity. Our camp curriculum is structured to promote teamwork, enhance self-esteem and build skills while incorporating the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and meet up to 300 standards for health, safety and program quality. Our camp program features an array of traditional, sports, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), and leadership camps. Join us for one or more weeks or all summer long. Full-day, half-day and extended day programs are available for campers ages 3-15. We offer programs in Garwood and Westfield. Financial assistance is available for Y memberships and programs. Our staff receive over 20 hours of pre-camp training including certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid with EpiPen administration, asthma inhaler training, anti-bullying prevention, behavior management, child abuse awareness and much more. We also have a full time first responder on staff for summer camp. We will comply with all CDC and Health Department guidelines to ensure the safety of your child at camp, including all COVID 19 guidelines which may be in place.
