At Camp ACS there's no such thing as a boring day of the week. To us, we believe every day is the best day ever! ACS' Day Camp offers parents a value-based alternative to the overnight camp tradition. Our mission is to bring your children the best summer of their lives within the closeness of your backyard. Torn between a science program and a faith-based experience? Camp ACS is the best of both worlds. Our curriculum empowers Pioneers to become Engineers and Artists. From building rockets to conducting chemistry experiments there's never a dull moment at camp. We see our summer program as an opportunity, to not jump-start learning, rather continue the education that happens within the school year. Our hands-on approach makes learning fun! We believe our Pioneers are world-changers. Every week our camp helps provide comfort to those who are less fortunate through a variety of different service projects. This opportunity allows students to develop character traits such as compassion, integrity, and respect. Pioneers will also be led in daily devotions where students can safely explore their faith. At Camp ACS, we don't believe anyone is too young to experience the Gospel. A variety of different electives will also be offered. These electives will focus on concepts like songwriting and athletics. The projects created during these sessions will be presented at our end of the season talent show called Jamboree. Jamboree will be a celebration of all Pioneers and their achievements. Each session of our camp focuses on a specific pillar within STEAM. During a given session, students will learn the fundamentals of a concept. Students will prove their knowledge through Frontier Games. These activities will challenge Pioneers to work together to complete complex challenges. These challenges exist to foster the natural leadership qualities in each Pioneer. Our liberal-arts program offers campers the ability to make memories of a lifetime. A summer spent at Camp ACS will be the best summer of their childhood.
