New York Film Academy Filmmaking Camps in Florence

In Summer 2021, Filmmaking Camps will be held in the following locations:

Filmmaking Camps for Teens: Online and in Florence, Italy; Paris, France; Gold Coast, Australia; New York City, NY; Los Angeles, CA

Filmmaking Camps for Kids: Online and in New York City, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Gold Coast, Australia

There will be no housing or transportation available for any campus. Parents and students will be responsible for travel and their own hotel accommodations (please also note that minors in the US (under the age of 18) cannot check into hotels without a parent or guardian physically present).

New York Film Academy's reputable hands-on Film Camps teach the next generation of filmmakers the fundamental elements of visual storytelling. Each student writes, shoots, directs and edits his or her own films. Combining in class instruction and on-set production, students will immediately learn how to use the Arriflex 16-S or a 24P digital video camera while learning proper loading, operation and maintenance of the camera.

Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, is a city that has inspired and nurtured artists for hundreds of years.

The New York Film Academy has been invited by the government of Tuscany to hold our programs in a renovated renaissance era building, across the street from Le Cappelle Medici, in the center of the city, moments away from the Duomo itself.
