Rooks to Cooks Summer Cooking Camp

Rooks to Cooks is an innovative Summer Cooking Day Camp with 12 locations in the Greater Toronto Area. Experienced chef instructors inspire and educate children, ages 6+, to reach their full potential in and out of the kitchen. Cooking lessons emphasize themes of healthy eating and teach students to live a fulfilling healthy life. 10 Sessions to choose from, running June 24th to Aug. 30th. Lunches, chef coat, apron, and safety glove included in registration fee.

Children will learn valuable cooking skills, but they also learn about team-work, responsibility, independence, nutrition, problem solving, and apply math and science in the real world. Lessons are always hands-on, team-based and fun! Campers will gain an abundance of new skills, increased confidence, the ability to safely navigate the kitchen, and amazing memories that will stick with them for years to come!

The crowning event of the week is the Friday night Pop-up Restaurant - "Petit Chefs." Campers invite family and friends to a 3-course tasting menu that they prepare from start to finish; they work as hosts, servers, bartenders, and chefs. It's a unique opportunity for children to showcase the skills they learned all week at camp!
