Adirondack Camp is a coed sleep-away camp for 180-200 young people from around the world, with a balanced mix of boys and girls. Pali Adventures is a one-of-a-kind overnight summer camp. Kids choose a morning specialty and all of their own afternoon activities to design a personalized adventure. We are one camp, but while campers are here they explore different interests. We are proud to offer Film, Acting and 29 amazing specialties - from Motorsports to Flying Trapeze - and everything in between. Our campers follow their dreams, try incredible new things and gain lifelong friends in a safe and supportive environment. About Art Camps and Programs
Art camps provide kids and teenagers with a safe, nurturing environment to express themselves, develop new skills, and explore their creativity. These camps provide a variety of experiences that let your child experiment with various materials and techniques, regardless of whether they are already passionate about art or are just starting to show an interest. Away from the demands of grades or competition, campers are encouraged to explore and find their own artistic voice through a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, and mixed media.
One of the biggest advantages of art camp is the way they foster self-expression and confidence. Your child can develop a sense of satisfaction and success as they design and finish their own art projects. Each child will be supported by experienced instructors to take creative risks with their projects. Art camp is a place where children who might not usually flourish in more academic or athletic environments can really shine.
In addition to nurturing your child’s artistic abilities, art camps impart important life lessons like perseverance, concentration, and problem-solving. Campers frequently work on multi-step projects that call for preparation and the ability to see a project through to completion. Children also learn how to share and receive feedback, work together on original ideas, and value other viewpoints in group settings.
