    Randolph-Macon Academy Summer Programs

    Randolph-Macon Academy will offer two online programs this summer, as well as a hybrid flight program! For middle school students (rising 5th-8th graders), there is a Virtual Learning Camp that will engage students' creativity and innovation for three hours each morning. The Virtual Learning Camp runs July 6-17. For high school students (rising 9th-12th graders), R-MA is providing online summer high school classes for new and repeat credit in a dozen different subjects. For Girls only, campers can expect the same outstanding instruction as the boys Goalie Schools. This camp has been filled the past 5 years so don't delay in signing up! Coach Pilat will be teaming up with Mary Schwartz, current head women's lacrosse coach at Roanoke College. Join us at that beautiful Virginia campus for high-level softball clinics! Camp is open for all abilities and ages 7-17.Check In: All Campers will check in from 8:45am-9am Monday through Thursday.Check Out: All Campers will check out at 3:00pm Monday-Thursday.*Lunch NOT included. Other overnight camps offer a traditional camp setting, with a variety of campfire games, sports and water activities to try out.

      Counselor Certifications: Depending on the type of overnight summer camp, each counselor should have the proper licensing and certifications to work with children. They should be fully background checked, plus have plenty of experience in their field. Some are volunteers, usually college age kids, who help out the instructors with activities and games.

      What to Ask the Camp Counselor: What if I have to cancel for any reason? You may be able to get your money back, less the deposit, if you cancel far enough in advance. If you wait till the last minute, though, you may only get a credit towards a future camp.
