DERS Summer Horse Camp program offers in-depth education for kids, tweens and teens! Campers join us for 2 riding lessons each day (weather dependent), hands-on grooming, tacking, unmounted equine education, horse care and horse related art projects to bring home.
Campers are divided by age and ability. A Rider Assessment Lesson is REQUIRED for all levels except Li'l Equestrians and Beginner riders.
SUMMER CAMP HOURS:
Campers ages 5yrs-7yrs
Mon - Thurs 9am-3:30 pm, Fri 9am-2pm.
Campers ages 8yrs plus
Mon - Thurs 9am-4pm and Fri 9am-2pm.

Gain Valuable Skills: At Camp BizSmart students gain real-world skills while they experiemnt with the latest business methods and design tools and get personal experience working with company founders and CEO's. At the beginning of each camp, students form dedicated teams to work together solving actual business problems. As they work on productss from innovative companies, they lesarn entrepreneurship skills, product design and business pitch essentials. Georgetown University Volleyball Camps run by Georgetown Volleyball Head Coach Arlisa Williams, offers several camp options to fit your needs. We teach girls ages 8-18 the fundamentals of volleyball at an age and skill appropriate level.New to the game? We will introduce all of the skills in a fun mamer at the appropriate pace. Experienced campers will be trained in the same manner as the Hoyas. Camp is run by the Head Volleyball Coach at Georgetown University and her staff. Campers will be coached by College and high school coaches as well as Georgetown University players and volleyball alumni. We have a 1:9 staff to camper ratio. Camp will take place on Georgetown University's Main Campus in the historic McDonough Gymansium. If you're looking for a fun learning experience with lots of one on one attention, this is the place.

We provide a safe, engaging and meaningful camp experience with enriching activities, fitness fun, social and emotional learning, and much more. Your child will enjoy a variety of activities every day with friends and peers, exploring math, science, reading, writing, arts, sports, nature and outdoor environment, and global diversity.
Our camp curriculum is structured to promote teamwork, enhance self-esteem and build skills while incorporating the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and meet up to 300 standards for health, safety and program quality.
Our camp program features an array of traditional, sports, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), and leadership camps. Join us for one or more weeks or all summer long. Full-day, half-day and extended day programs are available for campers ages 3-15. We offer programs in Garwood and Westfield. Financial assistance is available for Y memberships and programs.
Our staff receive over 20 hours of pre-camp training including certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid with EpiPen administration, asthma inhaler training, anti-bullying prevention, behavior management, child abuse awareness and much more. We also have a full time first responder on staff for summer camp.
We will comply with all CDC and Health Department guidelines to ensure the safety of your child at camp, including all COVID 19 guidelines which may be in place. All programs and program activities are subject to change based on CDC guidelines at time of camp.
