Metuchen SportsPlex Soccer Bugs

A child learns through play. With this fundamental child development concept in mind, our expert soccer instructors have developed a camp that teaches children motor skills, balance, hand eye coordination, and social skills through carefully crafted games and play activities. These games will both engage your child, and provide a unique way for them to learn. In the end, Soccer Bugs gives children development in the most enjoyable way possible. Camp costs include a T-shirt and a daily snack.

All Children's Theatre Day Camp

During the summer...

ACT sponsors 12 Performing Arts Day Camps at air-conditioned locations in Clinton, Metuchen, Parsippany, Sparta, Tenafly, and Watchung for children ages 4 to 17. Snacks are provided a.m. and p.m. The children become involved with comedy, acting, singing, dancing, as well as staging and scenery design and development. The camp program culminates in a dress rehearsal and one or public performances on the last day of camp. Participants also celebrate with a traditional cast pizza/soda party and receive a printed program and certificate of participation. $190 deposit holds your child's place in any camp.

Highland Grove Camp

The Highland Grove Pool offers a place for families and individuals to gather, socialize, and enjoy the cool, refreshing water. The facility consists of a 25 yard pool and a kiddy pool for youngsters. Locker rooms, picnic area, fields, basketball court and plenty of room to just lounge makes the facility perfect for family members and residents of all ages and interests. The outdoor pools are open for all area residents, whether a YMCA Member or a Non-Member.

The Hun School Day Camp

Full-day and half-day options are available at our day camp! Full-day is 9 am to 3 pm and half-day is 9 am to 11:30 am. For boys and girls ages 5 to 12, the camp provides a variety of games, arts and crafts, swim instruction and free swim, sports, and more. We offer an art curriculum with a weekly project. Tennis instruction will be offered the week of July 6th and soccer instruction will be offered the weeks of July 20th for no extra charge.
