Choosing summer art camp means that your camper will be exposed to a wide variety of different art forms including mural design, ceramics, clay, oil paints, woodworking, photography, digital media and many more forms. Campers at summer art camps are given free reign with their creativity and are encouraged to learn as many or as few of the available art mediums as they like. Basic skills will be taught in a variety of arts, and campers can join workshops where medium and advanced level skills will be taught. To ensure that your children are not hunched over their projects all day, these camps also offer a variety of outdoor and athletic activities.
Equipment to Bring: Campers are encouraged to bring their own specialized art supplies, like paint brushes, cameras or other tools they may need.
Levels of Expertise: Having artistic ability is not a prerequisite for art camp. Campers with any and all levels of skill are welcome.
Highlights: Campers are welcome to take their completed art projects home to show off to friends and family. Campers will learn the full creative process and will are encouraged to critique and accept critiques from their peers.
