Kennolyn Camps

Kennolyn Camps has a 67 year history, working with kids to rediscover their natural friend-making and social skills. There is a 1 night campout each week. Each cabin hikes out to a specific destination, collects firewood, builds a fire, and cooks dinner. Campers sleep under the stars and enjoy a day of hiking and exploration on 300 acres of Redwood Forest the following day. At Broadcast Camp, up-and-coming journalists will participate in everything from writing stories or working from an anchor desk to doing stand-up reports on location and reading on camera. Campers are also taught camera operation and lighting, enabling them to run our summer camp news station, KPAL News.
