Business camp provides an insight to campers on what the business industry is all about. Through various activities such as classroom instructions, seminars and field trips, budding entrepreneurs will learn the fundamentals of business. The focus of the program varies. Some camps teach their students on how to start up their own business while others introduce their students to accounting, finance, stock market, business administration, marketing and business presentation. This type of camp caters to various age groups, from 12 to 19 or 13 to 18 years old. It may also be offered from one to three weeks. Although business camps may differ in scope and approach, they have the same goal--to teach kids entrepreneurship and business through hands-on experience.

Highlights: Some finance or business camps provide opportunities to its students to visit local businesses and develop marketing plans for companies. They may be given the chance to visit and spend time in accounting firms in order to experience first-hand what to expect through an accounting career.
