Since 1898, Camp Greenbrier for Boys is located in the Alleghany Mountains along the Greenbrier River in Alderson, West Virginia. Boys 7 to 15 years old take part in the traditional camp program while those who are 16 to 18, or who have finished the 10th grade, participate in the Leadership Academy. Soccer camp is designed to bring out the love of sports in your child. Depending on the focus of the camp, your child maybe trained to enhance his or her player performance in key components of soccer – be it tactical, technical, physiological or psychological. To be a great soccer player, the camp helps your child in developing the needed skills like ball mastery, offense, defense, athlete nutrition, strength and conditioning, and stress management. Through recreational activities at the camp, your child will develop leadership skills, enhance self-esteem and learn respect for others. This type of camp caters to different age groups, from 4 to 17, and usually runs from one to several weeks. Girls' soccer camp caters exclusively to girls, and there are camps that are for boys only or coeds.

Highlights: Generally, soccer summer camps give a free T-shirt to every camper. Your child may also be treated to World Cup Tournaments and mini Olympic events.

Equipment to Bring: Your child should bring comfortable soccer shoes. Due to extreme exposure to sun, it is a must to bring sunscreen lotion and hats as well.
