Most etiquette camps are for girls, usually about age 7 to 18, but there are some out there for teen boys looking for a serious career in modeling. Through these camps, girls can be introduced to the world of modeling and fashion, through workshops, challenges, games and exercises. Instructors may include top industry professionals who direct the girls in their very own photo shoots. Many camps include portfolios and pictures in the cost of the camp.
Highlights: Some etiquette camps offer meet-and-greets with important agents and casting directors at the end of the session.
What to Pack: Whether taking part in etiquette summer camps or weekend camps in the winter, girls should bring a range of their best clothing, from casual to fancy, in case of a photoshoot and other events.
Levels of Expertise: Be sure to choose a camp for your child that's on par with her abilities. Some are geared toward the most basic of etiquette and manners lessons, while others are meant for older girls who have been in the modeling business for a few years and want to hone their skills.
