Other international programs focus more on actual information about world issues and don't involve extensive travel. These programs generally include a variety of classes designed to give students a broader perspective of the world. This type of program is more appropriate for younger kids who are interested in other countries but not yet old enough for international travel.

Learning Skills: Kids often gain more acceptance and respect for other cultures after an International Studies Program. They learn to embrace diversity and better understand the problems facing the world. Group projects are often part of these programs, so teamwork and leadership are also important skills that they learn.
