Adventure camps vary from camp to camp, but they can include sports such as swimming and hiking all the way to rock climbing and bungee jumping. The sport programs at these summer adventure camps are often complimented by more calm pursuits such as arts and crafts or self esteem building activities. These camps are often one week and may or may not be coed. There is no end to the excitement that campers face at adventure camp.
Levels of Expertise: Campers at adventure camp don't need any prior experience with any of the activities offered.
Learning Skills: Campers will be introduced to a wide variety of different sports and activities. Some sports or activities will be overseen by accredited instructors who will ensure that the proper skills are learned.
Equipment to Bring: Most often the camp will provide whatever equipment is necessary, but if you're attending a camp that offers a sport for which you already have equipment, then you can usually bring it with you.
